01 · LIGHT & ATMOSPHERE

Light that follows the day

Not fifty dimmers and an app. Scenes per room and per moment, and a colour temperature that drifts with the sun, so the house feels right without anyone touching anything.

Scenes, not switches. One press for dinner, film or away. The right light happens as a set, not lamp by lamp. Circadian by default. Bright and cool for work, warm and low in the evening. You stop noticing it, which is the point. Blinds and bespoke LED join in. Shading, accent light and that one awkward alcove, all in the same scenes.

02 · CLIMATE & AIR

Warmth per room,
not per house

One thermostat guessing for a whole house heats bedrooms nobody is in. Zones heat the rooms you use, when you use them, and let the rest rest.

Every room its own schedule. The bathroom warm for 07:00, the bedroom cool all day. Set once, then forget. Ventilation on air quality. CO2 sensors decide when to ventilate, not a timer. Fresh air when needed, warmth kept when not. The heat pump buys smart. On dynamic tariffs, heating quietly shifts to the cheap hours. Same warmth, smaller bill.

03 · ENERGY & BATTERY

Energy that earns its keep

A well-managed battery stores your solar surplus, buys when energy is cheap and supplies the house when it is expensive. From 2027, when net metering ends, this stops being a hobby and becomes arithmetic.

Charge low, use high. The system watches prices, sun and your habits, and decides every five minutes. Your roof first. EV charging and hot water wait for solar surplus before touching the grid. Paperwork included. Sized honestly. Victron, Sigenergy or Sessy, matched to your usage. If it does not pay off for you, we say so.

04 · SECURITY & PRIVACY

Vigilant.
Not curious.

Most camera systems protect your house by uploading your life. Ours records to a disk in your own cupboard. What never leaves the building cannot leak, be sold, or be subpoenaed from a data centre.

Footage stays home. Cameras and doorbell record locally. Away from home, you look in over an encrypted connection, direct to your house. Locks that tell you who. Personal codes for family, cleaner and guests, with a full entry log you own. Water has a kill switch. Leak sensors under sinks and boiler can shut the water main before damage spreads.

05 · NETWORK & BACKBONE

The boring part,
done properly

A smart home is only as calm as its network. So we treat yours like plant infrastructure: wired where it matters, segmented for safety, documented so any engineer can read it.

Wifi that never drops. Access points where the walls demand them, cable to everything that does not move. Three networks, one router. Family, smart devices and cameras live in separate lanes. A compromised gadget reaches nothing that matters. Labelled like industry. Every port, every cable, every address in a document you keep. Nothing lives in one person's head.

06 · CARE & AFTERCARE

We stay involved.
If you want us to.

The system is yours either way: documented, no subscriptions, no lock-in. A care agreement simply means the engineer who designed it keeps an eye on it.

Handover you own

Documentation, passwords and drawings, handed over and explained. Any engineer could take it from here.

Monitoring

With your consent, the system reports faults to us. Often we call you before you have noticed anything.

Updates, tested first

Every update runs at the Lab Home before it reaches your house. We find the surprises so you do not.

04

Annual inspection

Once a year, like a boiler service: sensors checked, batteries swapped, small annoyances fixed on the spot.
